American Jazz oboist, born on February 9, 1959 in Deerfield, Illinois, United States.
Walder met pianist Ira Stein at Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado while studying with the jazz fusion group Oregon. He signed with Windham Hill Records at the age of 19 and together with Stein he recorded three albums. Walder went on to launch a solo career and an acting career after moving to New Zealand in 2006.
