"Prior to recording this soundtrack in 1975 Simon Jones had been in King Hippo's Poetry Party from 1970 to 1973. They also performed under the abbreviated name of King Hippo. The Melbourne based band performed poetry and music and also appreared playing at The Pram Factory in the film 'The Skin of our Eye'. He was also involved with Dfium who gigged on Melbourne's underground circuit in 1973."
