Chilean singer born January 5th, 1948 in Santiago. She started playing in 1967 in college festivals, mainly in the Universidad Católica de Chile where she studied advertising. In 1968 she participed in the Festival de la Canción de Viña del Mar and won second place despite not being well received by the public and the critics of the press. The next year she won the competition by singing Scottie Scott's "Mira mira". In 1971 she toured the country alongside Sandro. She has written more than 25 albums and has won various music awards in Chile. Besides that, she managed her own singing academy in Viña del Mar, when she lived there, but closed it when she returned to Santiago.
