Joăo Pais Filipe (born Porto, 1980) is a self-educated drummer and percussionist. He plays in several projects of experimental and rock music and pursues an intense and wide activity in the improvised music spectrum. He collaborated, throughout the years, with, among others, musicians such as Fritz Hauser, Evan Parker, Marcello Magliocchi, Carlos Zíngaro, Damo Suzuki (Can), Stefano Giust, Alfred Harth, Bernhard Fleischmann and Burkhard Stangl.
