It all started in the dark swamps of Nashville Tennessee – when Thanatyx, a great necromancer bestowed life to the skeletal corpse of an unmarked grave. Thanatyx taught the skeleton the ways of the dark arts, brutality, and metal! This Skeleton would then go by the moniker Count Scapula and go on a quest to form a band of monstrous minstrels to bring darkness, brutality, and metal to the world! Count Scapula then met Manthing at a tavern and started the creation of the Phonographic Tome: Rise of the Skeleton Army! It would be a few more years before Count Scapula found the rest of his metal minstrels, The Revenant V, and the Soul Taker.
