Irish singer best known as playing Declan "Deco" Cuffe, lead singer of the band The Commitments in the film of the same name. He has also released a number of albums in his own name.

The audition for the role of lead singer Deco in film The Commitments happen purely by chance when, at the age of 16, his father Rob Strong was brought in as a vocal coach for the film, and its director Alan Parker heard his son Andrew singing thus auditioned him.
