Real name: Andro Ernst

Andro Ernst, aka Andy Ernst, is a producer, engineer, musician, songwriter, from San Francisco who's done the majority of his work at Art Of Ears studio in Hayward. Artists he's work with include: AFI, Rancid, Green Day, Tiger Army, Nerve Agents, Link 80, Screeching Weasel, Swingin' Utters, Screw 32, Good Riddance, The B.U.M.S., The Force, Fury 66, & Sway and King Tech.
Contrary to popular belief, Andro was also in the group Sass (1976), Andro & Ross (1989), and Diabolical Exploits (2001).
Normally, in the punk rock world, Andro was used as Andro Ernst's producer credit name, while Andy Ernst was normally used as his engineer name. And in the Hip Hop & Techno worlds, Andro or Andro Ernst was normally used. Unfortunately, there are inconsistencies.
