"The Pettit Project" is a pop punk band from Oakville, Ontario, Canada active since November of 1999 and named after Pettit Court, the street which founding member Scott Komer lived on. "Pettit" is pronounced "Pedit", not "Petite" nor "pet it". The band changed name to "Love You to Death" in February of 2008, due to the reluctance of their fan base being able to pronounce the name properly. As of 2016 the band has resumed the use of the original name, "The Pettit Project".
