Candidate was a short-lived three-piece emo-hardcore band from West Lafayette, Indiana. They were only active around 1995 to 1996, releasing a six-song demo tape, a full-length album, and a four-song 7" EP.

The band was originally formed by brothers Mike and Greg and their friends Jerry, Hazuki Chino, and Deva Saroyan, but Deva quickly left the band and Hazuki moved to Texas.
