Real name: 少女隊

Members: Reiko Yasuhara, Tomoko Hikita, Miho Aida, Mieko Ishikawa (4)

Japanese female idol group. Formed in 1983, they released their first single in August 1984. They split up in 1989, reforming briefly in 1999.

The original line up consisted of "Chiiko" , "Miho" and "Reiko" . Due to a herniated disc, Chiiko later withdrew from group activity for treatment and was replaced by "Tomo" [Tomoko Hikita].

Shohjo-Tai had a huge fanbase around Asia and toured Asia extensively which cumulated at being invited to sing the Image song for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games in Korea.
