Biography

Devadata
DEVADATA was established in mid-1997 and solidified on March 10, 1998. The meaning of devadata itself means bad human nature, without bad human nature it will not be perfect. Devadata's music leans more towards old school-new school hardcore style and thrash metal elements. In the 2000s, Devadata made a split album in cassette form with the band from the east of Java, namely Baby Dolls. Then for a long time Devadata did not release a full length album, so in 2006 with the title "emotional breakdown" is Devadata's newest album in cassette form. In 2009 "Emotional Breakdown" was re-released in the form of a full length CD by no label records from Surabaya and now with a new formation assisted by Ryan (guitar) and Roy (bass), Devadata is preparing to record a new album, also with new material.
Living as an indie band, DEVADATA is now strengthened by three personnel, BODAS (guitar, vocals), DANDU (drums) and a new member, HANO (bass), who continue to strive to introduce their taste of music to all directions. To penetrate foreign markets, the hardcore trio has started to release albums in several countries such as Malaysia, France, Australia and America.
In contrast to the split album concept which will be released with labels from Malaysia and France, together with the American label Step Down Records, DEVADATA actually received an offer to release a full album. Even though they had the opportunity to release an album abroad, the band which is known as the Timor Leste song, Harakiri, Hardcore Still Alive doesn't have any particular ambitions. They claim to be quite satisfied if their works can be known by many people in this hemisphere. Not only the opportunity to release an album, DEVADATA even had the opportunity to be invited to perform in America if their songs were liked there a lot.
