Valdemar Eiberg
Real name: Valdemar Sophus Gerlach Eiberg
Danish jazz saxophonist and band leader, born August 23, 1892 in Kolding, Denmark, died July 14, 1965 in Copenhagen, Denmark.Started as a banjoist and in 1923 became the first Danish jazz saxophonist, playing first C-melody sax, then alto. In the 1930s he leg dance band and in the 1940s recorded Hawaiian music.
