Oakley were a hard rock band formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada by guitarist Richard Oakley, formerly of the bands Central Nervous System (5), and Soma (48). Oakley worked continuously touring across Canada during the late 1970's/80's. They lived up to their reputation of being bad boys, working hard and playing hard. They found themselves sharing the stage with such heavyweights as The Doobie Brothers, Blue Rodeo and April Wine.
