Real name: Adio Joshua Marchant

Born in Manchester, England to Jamaican emigrants in 1987, he began his career and rise to popularity in 2007 in the UK when he co-founded and provided vocals for British Pop Rock and Hip Hop group, Kid British, the band released five EPs exclusively in Europe before their split in 2012. A year after the split, he would release his first solo EP under the alias of Bipolar Sunshine in 2013. He later rose to moderate success in the US when he was featured on the DJ Snake song, Middle and on American disc jockey, Gryffin's song, Whole Heart. In 2015, the Manchester-based music collective GREY was formed, consisting of Jazz Purple, Gaika, and August+us.
