American guitarist, banjoist, vocalist and songwriter.Born January 8, 1909, some 50 miles northeast of Atlanta, Georgia.
Died May 26, 1974. Brother of Paul Rice.
The brothers were both drafted and served in World War II. After the war, Hoke took a full-time job as a salesman.
