Biography
Rablats
Effective period / Period of releases: 1996
Members: Chris Widerstrom
Influenced by Halloween, old Full Moon movie scores, John Carpenter, Goblin, Portishead, and other tunes, Rablats create spooky songs incorporating keyboard melodies, piano, hypnotic drum beats and cryptic lyrics. Using a tongue-in-cheek approach to music, Rablats exploit many stereotypes of the gothic subculture. The "God Is A Vampire" album was released in 1996. A follow up album entitled "Creature Feature" was announced, but never released. In 2012, "God Is A Vampire" was re-released with four bonus tracks and the original songs remastered.
