He studied at Liceo's Conservatory in Barcelona. He played with "Secta Sònica" and "Música Urbana". He has played also with Carlos Benavent, Joan Albert Amargós, Jorge Pardo...

In 1987 he founded "Azúcar imaginario" sextet, and they won the best spanish jazz record award in 1987. In 1988 he formed "Bocanegra".
