The Malmö Opera Orchestra was founded in 1991, and is one of the youngest in Sweden. The principal rôle of the orchestra remains the performance of operas and musicals at Malmö Opera, but over the years concerts, tours and recordings have become an everyday occurrence for the 62 professional musicians from all over the world.
