Edna W. Ballard
Real name: Edna Anne Wheeler Ballard
June 25, 1886 (Burlington, Iowa) - February 10, 1971 (Chicago, Illinois)Founded the "I AM" Activity along with her husband, Guy W. Ballard, in the 1930s. Edna was a harpist and she composed a number of religious themed songs which were issued on the I Am label. A precursor to several New Age religions, the "I AM" Movement remains active today. Its parent organization is Saint Germain Foundation, headquartered in Illinois.
