Blair Hansen is from Castro Valley in East Bay of the San Francisco Area. Trained vocally in classical music for six years and having won many classical/opera music awards from university professors, Blair decided to pick up the guitar and put her dream to be an opera singer behind her for a dream to create her own music.

Hansen began writing songs and playing them for her family to hear. Six months later, Blair met her drummer, Daren Wilkerson, who introduced her to her producer, Clay Bigham. With her family's support, she began recording her first album and took it to as many stages and people as she could.
