Cuban trumpeter, composer and singer who migrated to the US in 1955. Played alongside Ray Barretto, and was a member of the Fania All Stars, Los Kimbos and the Orquesta Broadway. Father of trumpeter Roberto E Rodriguez Jr, bassist Willie Rodriguez and Richard Rodriguez.

Do NOT confuse with bassist Bobby Rodriguez, also member of the Fania All Stars
