Vitne (pronounced ‘Vit-neh’) is an American musician, singer and songwriter based in Norway. Drawing inspiration from artists like X Japan, Winger, Gackt and Billy Idol, his music generally includes elements of genres like glam metal, punk and gothic rock. He has been active since 2002, originally a bassist in the independent band 5th March, a guitarist in Golden Palace and then singer of the now defunct Norwegian hair metal band SEKS. Beginning his solo career in 2013, he has released 2 albums, 2 EPs and 12 singles. Vitne plays flute on many of his songs and has a strong working relationship with guitarist Julian Angel of the band Beautiful Beast.
