Real name: Die Klipwerf Boere Orkes

Die Klipwerf Orkes is a well - known South African musical group which plays Boeremusiek and other popular Afrikaans music. Founded in 1969 by Hentie Visagie, his sons Johann and Kobus and Nicol Louw. They played at festivals, parties, weddings etc. and their first album was only recorded in 1988. The present members of the orchestra are: Kobus Visagie (keyboard), Genè van Niekerk (keyboard), Johnny Dreyer (drums) and Willie Burger (guitar). They are one of the most popular Boeremusiek groups in South Africa.
