German a capella choir of five guys from the Stuttgart area, who started singing as children in the Stuttgarter Hymnus-Chorknaben in the 1970s and formed their own group in the early 1980s. Soon after the release of their debut album Die Minnesänger - Wir Machen Musik they raised the attention of the then famous NDW star Hubert Kemmler, who came from the same region and produced their synth pop single Die Minnesänger - Der Wilddieb Von Herzogenbronn for the major label Hansa.
