1970s female vocal soul trio from Chicago. Illinois.

The Sequins were Veronica "Ronnie" Gonzalez, Linda Jackson and Dottie Hayes, they were all students at Chicago's Harlan High School. After winning first prize at a talent contest at the legendary Regal Theater, the group began performing in local clubs. They came to the attention of Bill and Denise Jones of Crajon Records, Denise is better known as Denise Lasalle. There was also a female trio from the West Coast called The Sequins (4) who recorded on Renfro.
