In the 2001 movie Ghost World, Vanilla, Jade, and Ebony are high school students who performed "Graduation Rap", a deliberately awful parody of amateur hip-hop music. The soundtrack album credits the recording to these character names, rather than to the actual musicians: Daniel Clowes (lyrics), Nicole Sill and Guy Thomas (music), with rap performed by the actors themselves: Lindsey Girardot, Joy Bisco, and Venus DeMilo Thomas.
