The musical formation =FIOLET= was born in early 2009 as an acoustic project of Serhiy Martyniuk and the then bassist of the Lutsk band "V.O.D.A." Andrii Oleksyuk. In this composition, the duo took part in several literary and artistic actions, where they presented to the world their creativity, which contained an experimental mixture of lyrics, reggae and rap.

Over time, Petro Svist, one of the best Lutsk keyboardists, joined the team. Later =FIOLET= decided to take a "live" rhythm section to the band.

Therefore, today the group exists in the following composition:
Andriy Oleksyuk - bass guitar
Valentyn Mironyuk – drums
Oleksiy Lazarev – acoustic guitar
Petro Svist - keys, music, arrangement
Serhiy Martyniuk – vocals, music, lyrics
Also, in recent months, Yuriy Shray has been working with the band - trumpet.
As for the band's musical style, purple music is an emotionally explosive mixture of rap and hip-hop, reggae and bossanova, jazz and funk, seasoned with meaningful lyrics and the lack of fear of experimenting with each subsequent song!
