Flora Nielson
Flora Nielsen (née Sybil Crawley) was born on Vancouver Island in Canada in 1900. Her family moved the following year to England. The young soprano studied music at the Royal College of Music in London and would have a career as Sybil Crawley. Years later she switched to the mezzo-soprano repertoire and sang under the name Flora Nielsen.
