Frederic Mompou (Barcelona, 16 April 1893 - 30 June 1987) was Spanish composer and pianist. He studied piano at the Conservatorio del Liceo in Barcelona and gave his first concert at the age of 15. His miniaturist compositions were influenced, among others, by French impressionism and Erik Satie. He was married to the spanish pianist Carmen Bravo.
