Irish guitar player born in Dublin 1950. Formed blues rock group Crossroads in 1969, then joined Alice in 1970, who changed their name to Brogue during an extended stay in New York City in 1972. Returned to Ireland late 1972 and founded Peggy's Leg. in 1975 he joined Skid Row (2) for 8 months, then founded his own Jimi Slevin Band, which later became Jimi Slevin & Firefly. After various lineup changes he dissolved the band and went solo in 1980.

Played with Auto Da Fe for their 1983 tour, and later joined the traditional band Bachelors Walk.

Founded Riteroad Music Studios and the Riteroad Music (2) record label.
