In 1979 she jumped on the disco bandwagon with the maxi single "Wanna Make Love To You".
Between 1979 - 2003, she has released 13 albums.
In 1997 she receive the Juno award of Best Reggae Recording for her album "Nana McLean Collector Series" produced by jamaican maestro Donovan Germain.
