Simbi Ajikawo is better known as Little Simz (formerly Lil Simz). As an actress, she had a featured role in the first Netflix-released series (third series, overall) of London-based street drama "Top Boy" (2019), alongside former vocalist Ashley Walters (aka Asher D).

Her fourth album, "Grey Area" (2019), was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize (2019), as was her fifth album, "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert" (2021), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize (2022), and for which she won.

In February 2022 she also took the 'Best New Artist' award at the Brit Awards.
