Chattanooga

Effective period / Period of releases: 1982 - 1984

Members: Ackie Kempff, Mia Kempff, Clara Kempff

Swedish pop group from Halmstad, consisting of sisters Mia, Ackie and Clara Kempff.

They were noted for chart success in Sweden during the early 1980s. The group competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in 1982 with the melody "HallÄ hela pressen", which finished in fourth place. On the singles sales charts, it peaked at number two for singles in Sweden and number four for singles in Norway.

The song was on the Svensktoppen for eight weeks in the period 28 March-16 May 1982, with a third place in the first week as the best result there.

Chattanooga often collaborated during its short life with the rock band Strix Q.

In 2004, Chattanooga was temporarily recreated for a remake of "HallÄ hela pressen" together with Nina & Kim, which reached seventh place on the singles sales chart in Sweden.
