The Arabic Music Ensemble was an Egyptian Public sector ensemble founded in 1967 in order to preserve and renew the Cultural heritiage of Arabic Music. The ensemble was from its start led by عبد الحليم نويرة (Abdel Halim Nuweira) until his Death in 1985.Thereafter the ensemble was renamed فرقة عبد الحليم نويره للموسيقى العربية (The Abdel Halim Nuweira Ensemble for Arabic Music).
