Roy Gaines (born August 12, 1937, Waskom, Texas, USA - died August 11, 2021) was an American Texas blues and electric blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has played an recorded with many artists including: T-Bone Walker, Bobby Bland, Little Junior Parker, Big Mama Thornton, Roy Milton, Chuck Willis, Ray Charles' band, Everly Brothers, Bobby Darin, Stevie Wonder and others. He co-composed the song "No Use Crying" which has been recorded by George Jones and Ray Charles. Brother of the saxophone player Grady Gaines.
