Dead Weight was conceived in 2010 by five guys who share a common love for hardcore. The band’s influences range from Agnostic Front to Cro-Mags to Life’s Blood, and much like its New York Hardcore influencers, Dead Weight is a band that values honesty above all else; because, without honesty, it’s not hardcore, it’s just heavy music.

Dead Weight is not a NYHC rehash band. Dead Weight is a NWHC band and exists to fly that flag.
