The Westerlies
Members: Zubin Hensler, Riley Mulherkar, Willem De Koch, Andy Clausen, Chloe Rowlands
New York-based brass quartet formed in 2011 by Riley Mulherkar and Zubin Hensler (trumpet), and Andy Clausen and Willem de Koch (trombone).The Westerlies explore jazz, roots, and chamber music influences. The group takes its name from the prevailing winds that travel from the West to the East.
