"Weather Update was a short-lived band formed by Joe Zawinul in 1986 following the breakup of Weather Report. The lineup included former Weather Reporters Victor Bailey, Peter Erskine and Robert Thomas, Jr., as well as guitarist Steve Khan."It can be regarded as a precursor to The Zawinul Syndicate.
