Charles Gauthier
Canadian singer born October 19, 1940. At the age of 17, Bombardier hired him. In 1959, he borrowed the name of Claude Jourdan and began the round of hotels in the provinces. In 1961, he began his singing career. He won first prize for the show "Ma première chance" on CFTM-TV Montréal (TVA) and then performed on various television shows including "10 sur 10", "Rolande Reçoit" and "Jeunesse D'aujourd'hui". Nicknamed "Monsieur Sourire", he had a good career on records, radio and cabarets until 1973, when he left the profession to become a postal worker and then a representative of a cosmetics company.
