WG "Snuffy" Walden

Real name: William Garrett Walden

Effective period / Period of releases: 1991 - 2016

American guitarist and songwriter born February 13, 1950 in Louisiana, U.S.A.

Started his career in the late 1960's in a blues-based rock trio, Stray Dog (3), who relocated from Texas to England.
He recorded several albums and then moved to Los Angeles where he continued his solo career and began touring with artists such as Chaka Khan, Eric Burdon, Donna Summer and Sara Niemietz
Later he went to compose scores for movies and television. Walden has received twelve Emmy nominations and was awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Main Title Theme for "The West Wing" in 1999.
