Johnny Horne is a Jazz Trumpeter that performed in New Orleans. A quote from the notes on the back of his album, A Night At Maison Bourbon paints a small fragment of an illustrious career. "Johnny Horne was in the inaugural band for President Eisenhower. He played the tide water era for Richard Nixon when he was running for President. Johnny has played for the Brenda Lee Show, Jack Haskell from the Johnny Carson Show, and Henry Youngman. His individual style makes him unique among Dixieland trumpet players." He is also known for playing a specially made trumpet that has a bell at a slight upward angle, giving him a unique tone.
