Mental Destruction was the industrial project of the Durling brothers, originally aided by third member Jonas Blåberg, and was one of the more significant early industrial artists in Scandinavia. They refer to their music as "orthodox industrial", as the inspiration of the lyrics is their devotion to Christ.

The band played their final concert at Maschinenfest on Octcober 20, 2018 at Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen / Germany.
