The name of the group is a German Noun, meaning "the thing that is almost the thing you want.. but not quite".
Starting out in the early 2010's, Bein-E (as it's often shortened to) came about after members Simon & Tiffanie ended their relationship to one another. They decided to use the experience to create Experimental Electronica with a Gothic twist as this experience had opened a new creative avenue. Since then the duo (now trio) have become a staple of the alternative electronic scene, often found tucked away in underground compilations as well as remixing on various artists' works. Simon can also be found hosting DJ sets under the Bein-E name, giving a more freeform guise to the bands' already recognisable style.
