Hugely popular and long-running mbaqanga (a form of urban African soul) group, formed in Johannesburg in 1976 with some thirty albums to their name. Group from South African Republic.

Lead singer David Masondo (originally the drummer) and keyboard player Moses Ngwenya were the core of this prolific group after bassist and founding member Zenzele "Zakes" Mchunu died in 1984. David Masondo died in 2015.
