John Goodison

Real name: John Kenneth Goodison

John Goodison (born 1943 in Coventry, England, died 3 September 1988 in Coventry, England) is an English rock musician, producer and songwriter. He was an original member of Brotherhood of Man.

Goodison used five different names during his career:
Johnny B. Great/ Goodison used this name in the early 1960s as a solo artist.
John Goodison/ Goodison used his real name when in the Brotherhood of Man.
Big John/ Goodison used Big John when he fronted Big John's Rock and Roll Circus.
Perer Simons/ Goodison occasionally used the name of his cousin Peter Simons as a songwriting pseudonym. Peter himself was however not involved with any of the actual songwriting. Sometimes, he also used Peter Simmons.

He died of a heart attack on 3 September 1988.
