Wendy Richard, MBE (born 20 July 1943, Middlesbrough, North Riding of Yorkshire, England – died 26 February 2009, London, England) was an English actress best known for playing the roles of "Miss Brahms" on the BBC TV series Are You Being Served? and "Pauline Fowler" on the British TV soap EastEnders, the latter for nearly 22 years.
