NNB is the abbreviation of "Noch Net Bekend" (Not Yet Known). The Frisian punk rock band started in 2007 on the occasion of a benefit concert. The trio decided to continue with punk and rock; first with covers but later also with their own songs. At the start, the band consisted of Wilco Kingma (guitar and vocals), Gosse Pieter de Vries (bass and vocals) and Brend Kingma (percussion and vocals).
Later the style changed partly due to the arrival of other instruments in the direction of Irish folk. The folk rock band now consists of Brend Kingma (percussion and vocals), Wilco Kingma (guitar, banjo, mandolin and vocals), Sarina Kingma (flute and accordion), Pieter Hoekstra (guitar and vocals), Kees Sytema (pulp bag) and Gosse-Pieter de Vries (bass guitar and vocals).
