Los Fakires. Musical group that emerged in the 1960s in Santa Clara, the current province of Villa Clara, Cuba, under the direction of the outstanding musician Félix Esteban Rego Enríquez, who, together with talents such as the late Gustavo Rodríguez and Ricardo Mederos, ventured into the harmonic concepts of feeling, and the vocal and melodic treatments in fashion at that time, a time of search and sound experimentation.
This group played Rock songs and ballads of the time, they also accompanied famous figures on Cuban radio such as Pilar Moraguez and others. The Fakires develop their creative work in the world of cabaret, which has allowed them to cultivate their great musical versatility, always preserving their line of work within traditional Cuban music.
