Real name: Alex Martens

Masked Boy is a guitarist, animator and songwriter from the Windsor, Ontario region predominantly performing in Weirdonia and as a solo musician. Masked Boy as a solo project began with a string of ambient noise releases and some acoustic material. Following Weirdonia's hiatus in 2014, Masked Boy slowly transitioned leftover material into a dance-punk hybrid backed by a pre-made drum track.

Since mid-2015, Masked Boy's production has shifted more towards animation and released his first piece of work as a music video for the Detroit based Garage Rock band "The Fuzz".
