The name MELANGIA translates as "melancholy" in our native Catalan tongue.

et me introduce you MELANGIA, a project based on an old composition of a very well known Death metal band here from early 90's called Mortal Mutilation (RIP). The song which composes this exercise so called "Rèquiem", was originally composed in 1994 for that band, but never recorded until now, with a text in Catalan and 3 original members behind. Those members have passed through other very well known bands here, as Argar, Atman, Spectre or Grim Funeral.

Now, under NEGRE PLANY, the new sublabel created for the slower doomish sounds by Negra Nit distro, we see finally released this 7 chapters piece in 1 single track on a limited Digipack edition. Mine is the pleasure of adding the vocals and bass to the whole piece, with lyrics in Catalan.
